PLATO Online Learning in the Center for Instructional Technology at Westfield State University offers free online tutoring services in the areas of Math (Basic Math to Calculus, including Statistics), Writing, ESL, Accounting, Economics, Chemistry, Nursing, and many other subjects for undergraduate and graduate students.<\/p>\n
Professional tutors are available 7 days a week through ThinkingStorm for help and you can also set up a live chat appointment for help.<\/p>\n
Academic support is offered only to WSU undergraduate and graduate students who are currently registered and are using PLATO.\u00a0 All students are registered each semester into PLATO.<\/p>\n
Tutoring is provided to students free of charge up to 10 hours per semester. Students needing more hours must contact Val DePina at vdepina@westfield.ma.edu or 413-572-8430 to discuss the need for more hours.<\/p>\n
You must be a currently registered undergraduate or graduate student using PLATO to gain access. To access ThinkingStorm log into Plato, and click on \u201cPLATO\u00a0Help and Resources<\/strong>\u201d in the blue nav bar.<\/p>\n All students who are registered into at least one course per semester can take advantage of these services.<\/p>\n
